Access: 25 km by road from Essaouira—choose car, petit‑taxi (~15 MAD seat; ~100 MAD private) or public bus (~7 MAD, ~40 min) .
 

Water temp: Cool Atlantic water (15 °C winter; up to 21 °C summer) .
 

Seasonality: All‑year board sports with bigger winter swells and peak summer winds. 

For the best of both try March-May and September to early November

Surf‑ing, kite‑surf‑ing, windsurfing & SUP
This beach is a hotspot for board sports: consistent Atlantic swells (0.8–2.5 m) and steady offshore winds create perfect waves for everyone, from first‑timers to seasoned riders


  • Surf lessons ≈ 350 MAD/hour; board rental ≈ 150 MAD/day .

The iconic white shrine of the Sufi saint Sidi Kaouki sits at the northern end of the beach and is a local pilgrimage spot with spiritual and photographic appeal

Nestled within the UNESCO‑designated Argan Biosphere Reserve, cooperatives in the village produce and sell organic argan oil, amlou, soaps, and
